My wife's birthday dinner. We ordered two three course dinner specials and a entree of Bruno's Paparella. Our server was Damian, there are many favorable reviews mentioning his good service. He was very attentive and kept checking with us, we were seated at 6:15 but when it got busier he vanished. Others brought out our plates. When we were finished the dishes were not cleared and we sat waiting for him. The two specials came with dessert and Damien came by to ask the dessert choices. Someone else brought the desserts. When he returned I said that he missed my wife's birthday dessert. He immediately apologized and brought a menu to get her selection. I was impressed by the way he tools ownership of his error, and he came by to apologize to her again. The desserts were delicious and the meals were delicious!
I have been to Bruno's many times, and this place never disappoints. The menu is incredibly kid-friendly, making it a great spot for families. The food is absolutely delicious and tasty, catering to all types of dietary preferences. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, or a meat lover, there's something for everyone. Bruno's is also an excellent place to celebrate any occasion, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit special."
Finally an Italian restaurant that serves free bread and oil so you can munch on something while you wait for your food! I miss when restaurants used to do this. It brought back some good memories. I came in with my mom on a Friday night during the middle of peak dinner time and there was about a 10-15 minute wait. I wish they had more options on the menu like a ravioli or a tortellini. I went with the penne primavera and added chicken. It tasted light and healthy but I do feel like there were too many vegetables in the pasta. Price point felt great overall as well.
The service here is really great never had a bad server. Our go to is the lasagna or the paradise. I would definitely suggest going on Monday nights for the lasagna deal or on the weekends for pre fixe deal. Some weekends they have the pork chop, which isn't a normal menu item but it is also good and apparently very popular. The restaurant is perfect for date night before a movie or before going to a comedy show
On our way to the movies we decided to stop in for dinner. Oh my gosh, it was absolutely delicious! We shared the chicken Parmesan and it was more than enough for each of us. The Arancini was so delicious! I've never tasted it before so I was delighted as the taste and we couldn't get enough! For dessert we had the Budino. Such a yummy dessert! The service was phenomenal! From the moment we walked in they intentionally made conversation with us and made us feel welcome! Our server Kaya was so great! She was very friendly, always checking on us and so helpful with the menu! It's a must visit for a date night or a night out with friends!
First time visitors Indoor outdoor dining Parking by the structure Reservations and walk in Strong happy hour specials in the lounge with flat screen Very classy upscale casual date night celebration type of spot Background music yes but not so loud you had to shout at your party but added to the ambiance Hostess both friendly upbeat and personable Hannah - server - amazing - was overseeing at least 5 tables and more with various party sizes but had great energy made great conversation and recommendations Think the manager was even food running as well which is always pleasant to see and checked in on the tables to ensure everyone was satisfied There are daily and weekend specials. Today was the seafood cioppino choice between Cobb or Cesar salad and tiramisu or panne cotta dessert Order the special and pappardelle Bruno Both dishes fresh, tasty, not over powering, flavors didn't not over shadows, pasta was cooked perfectly and did not get soggy. The seafood was fresh and flavorful and something about the tomatoes that burst with its juices and goodness. The mushroom in the pappardelle were meaty and hearty and the meat was tender and probably fell off the bone. Very much a spot will return to try more and experience their happy hour as the environment seem lively and upbeat. Also it would appear they might be a dog friendly establishment so double win! Service was wonderful and vibrant. Highly recommended!
Absolutely yes x1000. I almost don't want to write a review here because some of the best things are kept secret for a reason. I went for the first time on Wednesdays (they do half off pasta on weds) and had the most delicious experience! I'm not even a huge lasagna fan, and I had a feeling to order this and I regret nothing, it was drool worthy and even better the next day! We also order the Rigatoni Alfredo with shrimp.. if you are a cheese and mushroom fan, this is the dish for you! We also got the tiramisu! Since we came on a Wednesday a bit early, it was not overly packed at the time and kept a free flowing tone for the night, we sat indoors to avoid the heat. It was a bit loud inside, but still at a manageable noise level to have a conversation. The food came out insanely fast, and our waiter was constantly checking in on us, along with management. You can really tell the staff does everything they can to ensure everyone has a positive dining experience. Tiny harp- we had a reservation and the host did not check us in, and took a lot of parties who were walk ins and had reservations after us.. it wasn't until another host noticed. So the evening starting off a bit off putting, but the food and service from our waiter made up for it!
This is a belated review, but we came here for my hubby's birthday dinner. I highly recommend making a dinner reservation here. 1) Rigatoni Alfredo 2.0: I love pastas with cream sauce, so this went well with their pancetta, roasted wild mushrooms, smoked mozzarella, with parmesan. Pasta is very filling and plentiful. Flavors were on point, highly recommend (5/5) 2) Pappardelle Bruno: If you love braised short ribs, then I highly recommend getting this one; the pasta is freshly made, and the short ribs is rich and flavorful, sauce is pretty good along with roasted mushrooms (5/5) 3) Spinaci: Can't go wrong with their spinach side dish; great for fiber and the garlic, olive oil and sea salt were mixed enough (5/5) Overall, food tasted great and we would totally come back here for their weekly deals. Service is friendly, credit cards are accepted, and there's parking in nearby structure
What a neighborhood gem. Fresh Italian fare, weekly and weekend specials with complimentary fresh bread as well as A+ service. Started with a chopped salad, with main entrees of fettuccine al granchio e gamberi and chicken marsala. The portions were great, with huge shrimp, crab and a nice slathering of cream sauce. The chicken Marsala came out piping hot with roasted potatoes and fresh green beans. Surprised we were able to save room for dessert but happy we did! The tiramisu was creamy and decadent while the panna cotta had a perfect texture with essence of vanilla bean and lime zest. Hannah, our waitress, and her team were very attentive and so friendly-- always checking up on us and making sure we didn't need anything else. Just a lovely evening all around.
